The dynamic pricing model
SageTrader Pro pricing isn't one rate.
Your per-share rate steps up or down as your monthly volume climbs or falls. It’s the same model on options: your per-contract cost drops or increases as your monthly contract count grows or falls.
The model is designed to reward active trading. Higher volume earns a lower marginal rate — so the more you trade, the less you pay per share.
Two more things to know before reading the tiers:
Per-share, not per-trade. Pro charges per share. Your cost scales with your volume, not with how many trades you place.
Add liquidity, earn a rebate. When you place a passive order that someone else fills (you "add liquidity" to the market), the exchange or market maker pays the broker a rebate. SageTrader Pro passes a portion of that back — $0.0025 per share on qualifying executions when using the SageReb route.
